Our Guidelines for Using Roomado Gift Coupons

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of hotel gift coupons issued by ROOMADO. By purchasing or using a gift coupon, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purchase and Validity

  • Purchase: Gift coupons can be purchased through our Application ROOMADO
  • Delivery: Coupons are typically delivered electronically (e-voucher) to your roomado account on roomado application. The Company is not responsible for non-receipt due to incorrect email addresses, spam filters, or firewall settings.
  • Validity: Each gift coupon is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. The expiration date is clearly marked on the coupon. Vouchers cannot be extended beyond the expiry date.

2. Redemption

  • Booking: The coupon holder must contact the designated hotel directly and quote the unique coupon membership ID and coupon code at the time of booking.
  • Availability: All bookings and services are subject to availability at the partner hotel. Standard hotel restrictions, blackout dates, and seasonal variations may apply.
  • Presentation: The original, unexpired coupon (electronic) must be presented upon check-in at the hotel for validation. Failure to present the coupon may result in the customer being required to pay the full cost of the stay.
  • Full or Partial Payment:
    • Monetary Coupons: The coupon can be used for full or partial payment of rooms, services, or packages at the hotel, as specified.
    • Package Coupons: The coupon is valid only for the specific package or service detailed on the voucher.
  • Balance: If the total cost exceeds the coupon value, the remaining balance must be paid directly to the hotel. If the cost is less than the coupon value, the remaining balance may or may not be retained for future use (state your specific policy here - e.g., "Any unused balance will be forfeited," or "Any remaining balance is retained as credit for future use until the expiry date").

3. Loss, Theft, and Damage

  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for the gift coupon passes to the purchaser/recipient upon our electronic transmission of the coupon.
  • Non-Replacement: ROOMADO is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of gift coupons. Lost or stolen coupons will not be replaced or refunded. Treat them like cash.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Non-Refundable: Gift coupons are generally non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, except as required by law.
  • Booking Cancellation: Any cancellation of a booking made using a gift coupon is subject to the cancellation policy of the specific hotel. If a booking is cancelled, the coupon may be reinstated, but the original expiry date remains valid.

5. General Provisions

  • Non-Transferable (Optional): State if the coupon is personal to the recipient or transferable. (e.g., "The coupon is transferable and may be used by any individual in possession of the unique coupon code.")
  • Coupons Altered: Coupons that are copied, modified, or altered will be invalid and will not be accepted.
  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction/State/Country].
  • Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms at any time. The current version will be posted on our website.

6. Customer Conduct and Coupon Use

  • To ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all guests and staff, the following condition applies to the use of promotional coupons and vouchers:
  • Misconduct and Evidence-Based Complaints: The customer acknowledges that any serious misbehavior, disruption, damage to property, or harassment directed towards hotel staff or other guests while redeeming or utilizing a hotel coupon may result in immediate action. If the Hotel submits a formal complaint, supported by verifiable documentation, including, but not limited to, video footage, photographic evidence, or incident reports, that substantiates the alleged misconduct, the Hotel reserves the absolute right to:
    • Immediately invalidate the current coupon/voucher without refund.
    • Permanently or temporarily block the customer's account or membership card used to purchase or redeem the coupon from any future transactions, offers, or services provided by the Hotel and its affiliates.
  • Note: The Hotel's decision following a review of the evidence will be final and binding.
